CASE STUDY : Arla, Llandyrnog Creamery

Arla 1 Arla 2 Arla 3

Fast Turnaround…

Coatech was approached and then awarded the works at Llandyrnog Creamery to install Resdev RT to their production room, the project was to entail removing the old quarry tiles which were in poor condition and install a new hygienic PU Screed

The work was completed start to finish in 1 week, this to ensure no disruption to Arla’s Production. The Quarry Tiles were removed to expose the substrate which was then removed due to the screed being in a very poor state. Over 16 Tons of concrete was removed from site and Resdev's PumaBulk was installed to falls from 80mm 30mm to create a good fall for drainage

After the PumaBulk was applied this was then topped off with a heavy duty 6mm PU Screed in beige. The floor was finished off with Polysulphide expansion joints along the drain to match the floor

Mr John Kelly, Engineering Manager at the Creamery said "the anti-slip resin flooring systems installed by Coatech meet the rigorous health, safety and hygiene demands of a modern food manufacturing environment where they can be exposed to fairly aggressive conditions and cleaning methods

All work has been completed to high standards of quality, contracts have been completed on time, to the agreed costs and in a prompt and professional manner"
