Best in class…

As part of the development of Croxteth’s new £4.6 million Community Primary School, Coatech was approached to install a modern flooring design in keeping with the new-build project.

The new school is built around a series of 3 internal and external courtyards and Coatech was approached to install Resin Bound Stone to these areas, which pupils will use for their lessons.

In all 205m² Resin Bound Stone was installed in bespoke patterns using a mix of 6mm Charcoal, Norwegian Pearl and Silver Grey aggregates to the architects drawings.

The curved patterns were achieved using wooden edging; an alterative to installing permanent edging strips. One colour stone was laid first and then allowed to cure. The edging was then removed and the second colour was installed up to the existing surface, ensuring a neat, fluid edge.
