Coatech joins RoSPA

Coatech have recently joined RoSPA; the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.  RoSPA is a leading UK charity that campaigns to prevent people from coming to harm though accidents; both in the workplace and in society as a whole.  Their focus is on sharing advice and information, training and upskilling

RoSPA also plays an active role in playground management and as part of their remit provide information and advice on playground management and advocate for the safety of indoor and outdoor play areas.  RoSPA offer a wide range of services for the play industry, such as carrying out annual inspections, risk assessments, approving play area design and promoting codes of practice for safe play spaces.

Coatech felt that the charity’s focus on health and safety aligned with our principles for risk management and also that we would benefit greatly from the wealth of knowledge, guidance and support that we can access through RoSPA.

Coatech has extensive experience installing rubber crumb and mulch playground surfaces and this continues to be an area of growth for the Company.  As such, an affiliation with the industry’s leading advocates for play safety was an important step.
