Supply ChainĀ
We hand-pick suppliers and external contractors whose credentials and operating practices reflect our own standards. We therefore endeavour to work within and contribute toward an environmentally-responsible supply chain.

Natural Materials
We use natural and recyclable materials within our systems and these are typically sourced from the UK. Most of our products are delivered in recyclable bulk containers, which enables us to reduce our carbon footprint and eliminate waste.

Registered
Coatech is a licensed Waste Carrier and all waste streams are regularly monitored. We benchmark all our waste management activities, proactively reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill, and recycle wherever possible.

Partnerships
We have partnered with Constructing Excellence in Wales (CEW) and are collaborating on its Enabling Zero Waste (EZW) project. Through this initiative, we are aiming to generate less waste, reuse materials where possible and use more products that are packaged in recyclable materials.

Long lifecycles
Due to the durability of resin products, our systems have an incredibly long lifecycle. The environmental impact is therefore considerably lower than alternative surfacing methods. Modern resins are low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and both water-based and solvent-free systems that emit fewer emissions during the curing process are now widely available.

Zero waste to landfill
We are also involved in establishing whether the construction industry can work towards a Zero Waste to Landfill policy.

Sustainable
Many of our systems are selected by main contractors because they help them achieve excellent BREEAM ratings for sustainable construction.

We’re paperless
We have invested in a comprehensive IT system that enables us to maintain a paperless operating environment in the office and onsite.

We’re going electric
Our fleet includes electric vehicles, which helps us reduce our emissions and carbon footprint.
