Highly Resistant

Epoxies and polyurethane coatings provide excellent resistance to chemical attacks. They also resist impacts, abrasions and moisture

durable

Durable

Epoxy resin coatings are thicker than conventional floor paints and provide a hard-wearing, long-lasting finish

Slip-Resistant

We are able to incorporate graded sands, quartz or aggregate to provide a slip resistant finish

Health and Safety

Different colours can be used to mark designated areas within manufacturing plants and warehouses e.g. pedestrian walkways

Rapid Installation

Epoxy coatings cure quickly, resulting in minimal downtime.  Large areas can be installed in a day

Customised Finish

Resin coatings can be installed in an array of colours, and in gloss or matt finishes

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

  • Plant rooms
  • Clean rooms
  • Workshops
  • Pharmaceutical plants
  • Manufacturing factories
  • Warehouses
  • Automotive and aviation facilities
  • Nuclear plants

INSTALLATION

The floor is prepared by diamond grinding or shot blasting. We then use an industrial vacuum to remove all remaining dust. Typically, we apply two coats of epoxy as standard, using a flat squeegee and roller. The specification may also include a primer coat, depending on the usage of the facility and the quality of the substrate

FAQ

Why should I choose a resin coating over other flooring options such as floor paints?

Epoxy flooring offers several benefits over alternative floor systems. They have a low lifecycle cost thanks to its longevity and durability and as such are a very cost effective solution. They are easy to maintain And aside from general cleaning there are no special cleaning requirements. Epoxy coatings are one of the few floor systems strong enough to withstand the most demanding industrial settings without deteriorating

Where can resin coatings be applied?

Epoxy coatings can be used in many environments in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. These include garages, basements, breweries and distilleries, retail stores, shopping centers, bars, and clubs, medical facilities including GP practices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and vet offices, car showrooms, gyms, locker rooms, public restrooms and educational facilities

How long do resin coatings last?

A resin coating can last in the region of 10 to 20 years with the right care and maintenance. The product’s longevity negates the need to replace or repair the floor frequently making the surface a cost effective and environmentally friendly option and a better alternative to other flooring options

How long before I can walk on my new resin coating?

Most agree that epoxy is safe to walk on after about 12-16 hours and polyaspartic systems can be trafficked after about 6 hours. Ideally it is prudent to wait a full 48 – 72 hours before exposing your new floor to any heavy traffic or heavy equipment
