SAFEGUARDING THE WELL-BEING OF OUR WORKFORCE, CLIENTS AND OTHERS AFFECTED BY OUR ACTIVITIES IS A PRIORITY HERE AT COATECH

A casual attitude to health and safety has no place in the environments and industries in which we operate. As such, we have implemented a systematic approach to health and safety management that aligns with statutory obligations and legislative requirements. We also work closely with an independent health and safety consultant to ensure we follow best practices and continually work to improve our health and safety policies, procedures and processes

Health Screenings

We ensure our site operatives undergo annual health screenings and Face-Fit testing to ensure they have the correct respiratory protection and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suited to their individual needs

Our Accreditations

Coatech is CHAS, SafeContractor, and Constructionline Gold accredited. We are committed to the CSCS scheme and our entire site team is CSCS carded

Team Training

Our approach to health and safety permeates throughout our company and our team regularly receives refresher training and safety Toolbox Talks

Upskilling

Through our registration with the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board), we manage an effective training and upskilling programme that includes courses in:

First aid
Manual handling
Handling COSHH substances
Asbestos awareness
Fire safety
Environmental management

Qualifications

Additionally, our managers and supervisors hold various qualifications, including:

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme)
Managing Safety IOSH
NEBOSH Environmental Management

Site Records

Comprehensive method statements are provided for every project and we carry out thorough risk and COSHH assessments as standard. All our site team have access to these on a paperless digital system
