Coatech was delighted to be involved in this creative playground project for a primary school in North Wales that is currently being redeveloped as part of the 21st Century Schools Programme
The surface featured a number of intricate designs, colours and patterns including a beach area, various hopscotch and counting patterns, a road, and a forest
Firstly the SBR base layer was laid to provide cushioning to the surface. All designs were then marked out and laid to the architect’s bespoke design requirements
The client and the school are extremely pleased with their new play area, and
the children are looking forward to being able to use it both for play and learning once the remaining building works are complete
The client is so pleased with the results Coatech will be returning to install Rubber Mulch Bark in another area of the school as part of the next phase of the works
