Acorn Midnight Grey

Case Study

Tir Morfa Daily Mile

Coatech was approached by a local contractor as we were specified to install the resin surfacing on this scheme just down the road from our base in Rhyl

The scheme comprises of 1100m² of Resin Bound Stone surfacing in three different colours to create a trim trail around the field at the school to given the children a fantastic walking/running area

The tarmac was laid and regulated with a 6mm wearing course in places to ensure the levels were perfect, this done by the local contractor prior to Coatech starting works

Using Addagrip materials we mix the different blends with our Baron mixers and apply them at 15-16mm thickness on the new tarmac areas and 12mm on the existing tarmac play area to create a seamless, smooth and decorative pathway for the children to play on

  • Materials used were 25 tons of washed and dried aggregate, 1.9 tons of resin
  • 400kg resin
  • All waste was removed and recycled
